How the Cyclone Rake connects to your tractor/mower
There are 3 points of connection between the Cyclone Rake and the unit that you are using to tow it. It's critical that you get the right components as tractor configurations vary widely between brands and models and because of this variability, the parts are not always interchangeable. Unfortunately, in this case, one size does not fit all, so please read the info below or contact us if you have any questions.
The 3 points of connection are:
Mower Deck Adapter - This attaches to your tractor/mower deck and directs the debris from the mower deck in the direction of the Cyclone Rake collector unit. Note that because all mower decks are different, it's important to get the proper one so it fits your tractor/mower and does the job well. Also note that the Mower Deck Adapter will need to match the model Cyclone Rake that you have as the output openings between models vary.
Deck Hose - The deck hose runs from your Mower Deck Adapter to your Cyclone Rake engine/blower housing. This hose diameter will correspond with the mode of Cyclone Rake that you are connecting to and the length of that hose will be based on the distance between the mower deck and the Cyclone Rake engine/blower opening.
Hitch - The hitch attaches to the back of your tractor/mower and creates the dual pin connection that will allow you to tow your Cyclone Rake without jackknifing. Like the Mower Deck Adapter, this is specific to the make and model of your tractor/mower.

Your Cyclone Rake will come with a PVC Deck Hose to move material from your mower deck back to the Cyclone Rake. For added protection and to fight back against abrasive materials (nuts, sandy soil, small rocks) upgrade to the Tough Pro Urethane Hose. It’s 20 times stronger than the PVC and is the perfect match to go with your Blue Diamond Liner. The Urethane Deck Hose comes standard on the XL and Z-10 Models.

All Cyclone Rakes come with a standard rubber collar to allow you to connect your existing Mower Deck Adapter to your Cyclone Rake. If you don’t have an existing adapter, make sure you add a Mower Deck Adapter to make the connection. And yes, we will have one to fit your tractor!
All Cyclone Rakes come equipped with a standard hitch to connect to most tractors. If your tractor requires a 3 point hitch (typically for larger tractors), please choose the 3 Point Hitch upgrade.
