What is a Lead or Customer in icommerce?

>Leads (potential customer) and Customers are both considered as Customers in the iCommerce platform and managed within the same screen. For reporting and data extract purposes, a customer without purchase/sales orders is treated as a lead and the data can be exported as needed.

Source of Leads:
- Info-Kits submission from the info-kit request form
-Lead creation using Contact-Us
- Lead creation using customer self-registration from the website registration form
- Lead creation using manual lead entry form in the admin portal 
Info-Kits submission from the info-kit request form

When an info kit form either physical or digital is requested from the info-kit request form on the Cyclone Rake website, a Lead will be generated in the icommerce.

When a customer requests an info kit, a lead will be generated based on the below conditions:

1. Check if the customer exists in the system based on Email or Phone as an identifier

2. If no email id match is found, Mail chimp contact will be created from the submitted info kit request

3. The latest contact details and communication preferences will be updated if an email match is found.


A. Procedures for Lead creation using Physical info kit form

  • Navigate to the website https://cr.uat.icuboid.com
  • Click on the free info kit Icon on the home page

  • 3. Click on the info kit by mail option


    4. Fill in all the fields on the form and then submit



    The physical info kit requested lead details (an excel file ) will be sent to the email everyday night.



    B.Procedures for Lead creation using Digital info kit form

  • Navigate to the website https://cr.uat.icuboid.com
  • Click on the free info kit Icon on the home page
  • Click on the Info kit download option
  • Fill in all the fields on the form then click on the submit button



  • -Lead creation using Contact-Us

    When a customer submits a query from the contact us form, a lead will be generated as part of case creation on the i-commerce

    1. Navigate to the website https://cr.uat.icuboid.com
    2. Click on the Contact Us form on the support Icon on the home page.



     Lead creation using manual lead entry form in the admin portal 
    1. This is a manual way; Sales Rep will use the customer form when he receives a phone call.
    2. Sales Rep logins into the system and search if the customer exists based on phone or email as an identified. If the email id match is not found then create the lead using the manual lead entry form in the admin
    3. We will get the lead/customer form from the customer's menu in the admin portal. Then click on the Add New button
    4. Fill in the details on the required fields and click the save button


    1. We will also send an email to the lead/customer on how to access his account to view and manage all of his information and communication preferences.
